Energy Reporting solutions

Energy Reporting is an essential component of every energy saving initiative.

This is due to the fact that we cannot save energy unless we are able to measure, control and track.

Objective of Energy Reporting System

• To generate monthly energy MIS
• To establish the baseline consumption of a facility
• To track specific consumption of individual equipments and system made up of a no. of     equipments
• To track energy saving measures to assist energy audit findings & recommendations
• To assist in ISO 50001 implementation by energy reporting in requisite formats
• To assist in green building energy index
• To qualify in Green Building Certification
• To qualify in energy star rating for commercial facilities
• Electrical as well as non-electrical parameters are monitored and reported.
• Communication of alerts when set thresholds are exceeded; this applies to electrical as well as non-electrical parameters such as temperature, RH, pressure, flow, etc.

One key aspect of energy reporting system is the establishment of baseline energy consumption.

Energy consumption undergoes patterns depending upon seasonal changes in ambient conditions, load demand based on time of day, production or usage, etc. The baseline energy consumption takes into account a minimum of one year’s historical data ( ideally three years’ data ).

Apart from building an energy consumption database, real time energy usage can be viewed in graphical format such as trends or bar graphs to generate daily report, weekly report, monthly report, quarterly report and yearly report.

Utility billing can be tracked and compared with monthly bills to identify any irregularities.
